Sungkyunkwan University Intelligent HCI Research Center (ITRC) 
The Convergence Research Institute was founded in October 2005 with 'Intelligent HCI Convergence Research Center' which is supported by Ministry of Information and Communication of Korea as a part of the University ITRC projects. There are about 40 government supported ITRCs over the country and they are leading the research and development in academic society of Korea. Our goal is to develop ubiquitous applications based on user-friendly and intelligent interactions. We are expected to raise high-quality human resources by industry-academia-research institute cooperation, develop core technologies of HCI and mobile computing, preoccupy the global market, and thus improve our quality of life by providing man-oriented dynamic future generation services.

KADO (Korea Agency for Digital Opportunity & Promotion) 
KADO is a specialized government subsidiary devoted to providing comprehensive support for domestic and international digital divide closure. We provide the disabled, the elderly and farming and fishing villagers with easy and affordable access to information and communication service, so elevating life quality of the public and achieving balanced development of national economy.
KADO is specifically engaged in seven objectives.

KIST (Korea Institute of Science and Technology) 
As a research institute supporting national aspirations for science and technology in the 21st century, KIST will take the lead in efforts to build a science and technology-based society. Its primary goal is to research and develop creative original technologies to lead Korea’s science and technology sector and disseminate the results and accomplishments of its research throughout society. The Intelligent System Research Division of KIST is working on the development of fundamental technologies in the Lifetronics area which covers intelligence, virtual/augmented reality, and miniaturization in mechnicla, electronic and computer systmes.
